This week let's pray for the students of the Blue Eye School system.

Ask God to see those student's need right where they are and be the One who meets those needs according to His perfect wisdom & plan. Ask Him to open the eyes of every student to see their need for Him, that they may know the hope to which they are called and that God would give them hearts that seek truth. Ask God to reveal His love and confirm their identity in Him and place a hedge of protection around them to protect them from the enemy. And ask that He move in their families and caregivers lives to create healthy, loving families.

Let's focus on the Blue Eye teachers & counselors this week.

Ask the Father to protect and guide these front line workers in Blue Eye. May He give them wisdom, understanding and grace for every individual situation that arises in each day. May His Spirit of discernment guide each interaction with students & parents or guardians and lead them to creative and constructive help for struggling students and families. May He give them eyes to see the "quiet ones" , the ones who need an affirmation or encouragement. And may the God of all strength, endurance and hope fill the teachers & counselors with those very things.

This week let's focus on the support staff in the Blue Eye schools.

Pray for God to encourage bus drivers, custodians and nutrition staff to be intentional in their daily interactions with the students. That they would understand the importance of their positions and the momentary interactions they have with the children to share a smile, a word of encouragement or be a good listener. Pray that God would lead them in each encounter and burden their hearts to become prayer warriors for the students. Pray too for God to draw each member of the support staff close to Him and meet their needs.

This week let's focus on the students of Bradleyville schools. From preschool through high school each student has a story and unique needs.

Acknowledge that our Father sees them right where they are and ask Him to meet them where they need Him the most. May God be present and working in every home and family situation to bring good and to make home a safe and nurturing place. Pray against abuse and neglect & for deliverance and healing. May today be the day that He opens the eyes of every child to see their need for Him & call upon Him as Lord.

This week let's lift up the teachers and counselors in the Bradleyville school system. Pray for God's guidance and peace as they deal with the day to day lives of the students. Pray for insight into complicated family situations and resources to provide adequate help where needed. And pray for God's provision in the homes and families of the teachers and counselors. May they each know Him personally and intimately in Jesus name.

The winter season in the Ozarks can be hard for everyone but for some families it is made even harder by seasonal unemployment, inadequate housing and food insecurity. Evidence of this increased hardship often shows up in the emotions and behaviors of the children at school. Counselors who are already dealing with the day to day needs of many children find a significant increase in difficult and tense situations. As one counselor put it, "We're just trying to fill in lots of gaps and help not just the children but the whole family."

Pray for wisdom, understanding, strength and adequate resources for all the area school counselors. Pray too for all those families who are trying to navigate the increased difficulties that winter brings. May they seek and find God through area resources and especially the Body of Christ in the Ozarks.

This week let's focus on the support staff in the Bradleyville schools. The bus drivers, nutrition staff, and custodians all have daily opportunities to interact with our children outside the classroom. Opportunities to share a smile, speak a word of encouragement, or just listen to a child's comment.

Pray for God to impress on each of these support staff the importance of their positions and the momentary interactions they have with the children. Pray that God would lead them in each encounter and burden their hearts to become prayer warriors for the students. Pray too for God to meet the needs of each of these workers and draw them close to Him.

As we approach and enter into the New Year of 2025, let many hear and continue to hear the call to pray for our community and fully engage in the United Prayer Team Website by praying and sharing prayer requests and then celebrate answered prayers. May God continue to bless our community and visitors who recognize the Biblical values displayed in all 7 sectors of our community. We praise God for over 6,000 prayer's prayed that have been documented in the last 8 months. To God be the Glory!
