“Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.” Proverbs 19:21
As we have arrived at the official start of the summer season let us put our plans in the hands of God that He will lead us to accomplish His purposes first. He has Divine Appointments for each of us to fulfill. Let each church body and non-profit organization focus on fulfilling His purposes throughout this summer.

In the midst of all things, LORD, we worship You. We proclaim, "Holy, holy, holy is our God." We declare Your glory across our nation. You are worthy of all praise!
We are thankful that You are reliable, that we can depend on Your presence, and that You will always provide what is right and good for us. Thank You for that assurance in Jesus’ name, amen.

Father, we pray today for our local government officials, elected and appointed. May they pursue wisdom and knowledge from You as they make decisions. May they have a strong desire to be wise servants. We thank You for each one and pray Your blessing on each one and their families. In Jesus name we pray.

Heavenly Father,
Today, I simply ask for grace between employees and employers. That each would have a perspective shift on what the other is going through. Lord, I ask that as they work together, each would love like Jesus loves and love their neighbor as themselves. Holy Spirit, bring peace, bring joy, and bring unity in all these relationships across our communities.
In Jesus Name. Amen

With the summer season upon us, the town is getting busier. Pray that the testimony of Christian performers will be an effective means of sharing the gospel and that, through them, people will come to Christ. Pray that the performers will be protected and encouraged!

“You are the light of the world – like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.” Matthew 5:14 NLT
Heavenly Father, may we welcome visitors to Ozark Mountain Country with genuine hospitality and eagerness to share the hope we have in Jesus. Shine in us and through us that we might be lights to help ignite the flames of revival. We pray that many visitors will encounter the transforming power of the Holy Spirit and carry the message of salvation back home to their communities. We ask these things in Jesus’ name, amen.

Lord, draw near to those who have sacrificed their very lives for the freedom of many. Bless the families of those fallen heroes. Thank you for the Lord Jesus who willingly gave his life to provide eternal freedom to all who believe.
Please guide and direct those on the front lines in healthcare this week. May they be your hands and your feet as they care for those in need. Amen.

Pray for the anointing upon all of our pastors, teachers and worship leaders, as we enter into another day with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May God bless everyone who enters into the church and as they go out, may they be engaged to share the gospel with those they come in contact with.
Thank You, Lord, for loving Your people. Amen.

As we close the month of May let's lift up the support staff of Forsyth schools. Pray for the bus drivers, custodians & food service workers as they move into summer. Pray for refreshing from the Lord and for God to draw them to Himself, especially those who do not know Him personally. Pray for God to remind them of those they encountered throughout the school year who need their prayer and to be faithful to lift them up. And ask the Lord to prepare the hearts of those He has called to return next fall to be His ambassadors to the children.

Father in Heaven, we thank You for the men and women in the military who gave their lives to defend our nation. They fought and bled, experienced the trauma of war, and yet endured for freedom’s sake – for liberty, for family, for peace in the world. We pray for their families and friends that You would protect and bless them in every way. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.
