Join your neighbors in celebrating the National Day of Prayer at the 24th Annual Ozark Mountain Prayer Breakfast. Enjoy fellowship, worship, the presentation of the Don & Dorothy Gabriel Kingdom Builder Award & an inspiring message from keynote speaker, Amanda Hoenes.
Amanda has learned a little about-facing fears, overcoming obstacles and just getting it done. Her own lessons about leaning into adventure have guided her from a small town in Missouri to different adventures across the United States and around the world. An Ozarkian at heart and Branson High School graduate, her life has been driven by a desire to explore the world, its limits, and her own.
She’s faced enormous challenges, hurts and failures and allowed the lessons to lead her to immense growth, personally and professionally. Through it all, she learned to dig deeper, lean on others, and to never give up.
Breakfast begins at 6 AM. Program concludes at 8:30 AM.
The award is named for Don Gabriel, father of entertainer Doug Gabriel, who founded the Branson Christian Business Men’s Committee, which birthed the Ozark Mountain Prayer Breakfast. The honor is given each year to a person or persons who “contributes to the quality of the community by demonstrating in word and action a dedication and dynamic Christian life.”
