Dear Lord, we recognize that this earth is not our eternal home. Help us focus on the eternal as well as the temporal. This sinful world causes us physical and emotional pain. You are the Great Physician. We ask You to heal our nation. Please open the eyes of our leaders. Most importantly open our eyes to the things in our hearts that need Your healing so that we can stand righteously in relationship to You. We pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
