Lord, we turn our eyes from the distress around us to focus on You alone – the Author and Sustainer of our faith. In You only, there is peace that surpasses understanding. May Your Holy Spirit move with power in our land and reign in our hearts and minds. We pray especially for our young people. Give them ears to hear. Turn their hearts toward You. Give them wisdom beyond their years. May they keep Your commandments. In Your name we pray, amen.
