Father, thank you that you are near to the brokenhearted. As the holiday season draws near, please draw close to those who have experienced loss. For those who have an empty chair at the table or those who have found themselves sleeping alone after many years, carry them through.

Thank you for the hope that we enjoy, because you are God and cannot lie, that one day all believers will be reunited, not only with each other but with the Lord Jesus Christ. And it’s in his name we pray, amen.

Concerned Women for America

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” Philippians 4:6

Father, Author of the beginning and end of all things, while the troubles of this world unsettle us and make us anxious, may we not let them distract us from Your unchanging goodness. May we find rest in Your never-ending peace amid political turmoil. And may we know that whatever happens, it is for the good of Your people and for Your Kingdom. Thank You for always being our guiding light and firm foundation. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Father, Thank you for the gift of family. With the long, stressful hours that is required in healthcare, families can suffer. Please have your hand upon the families of healthcare workers. Protect them and may their homes be places of peace and respite. To You be the glory. Amen.
