Let’s thank the Lord for first responders in Taney and Stone Counties. Law enforcement officers, firefighters, and EMTs provide critical assistance and often risk their own lives to save others. May God grant them protection and wisdom as they perform their duties.

Please keep hospital staff in prayer during this busy season. Record numbers of surgeries and care is being provided as so many are trying to get their procedures done before a new insurance cycle starts in January. Teams are serving faithfully despite the long, stressful hours. Thank you.

Praying for our nonprofits who will be working overtime in December to ensure that while we celebrate the birth of the Savior, His love will be shown to everyone -- not just by gifts but by actions. Blessings on each of those who will be putting in that extra time. And on each of you who will join me in holding them up in prayer.

Heavenly Father, how grateful we are that You are Emmanuel, God with us. You have promised never to leave or forsake us. You are fighting our battles and working all things for our good even when Your footprints can’t be seen.

During this holiday season, let’s remember the hundreds of children in Ozark Mountain Country who have been removed from their homes due to domestic violence and other unsafe conditions. Please pray for them and all who are working toward solutions for these difficult situations. Pray that our compassionate Heavenly Father will protect and comfort these girls and boys in their transitions, and give them hope in Him.
