In the United Prayer Room, we invite people to pray to God as a community. This is a place to connect to others by praying for needs and seeing how God responds.
We want the United Prayer Room to be a welcoming and trustworthy space for all. When submitting requests, please:
- Keep a community focus in mind; while our main priority is prayer for Stone and Taney Counties, we also want to remember needs in our state, our nation, and other countries
- Respect the privacy of individuals by not giving last names or identifying information
- Do not post hyperlinks, ads, spam-like content, copyrighted material, or content – including political content – that OML deems inappropriate
- Remember the importance of posting praise reports of answered prayer; this encourages the prayer warriors and allows us to thank and praise the Lord for His responses
As we follow these guidelines, we honor God, respect each other, and strengthen our community. Thank you for participating in this ministry.

Father, please draw close to those who are serving long-hours on the frontlines of healthcare. The healthcare workers deal with the challenges of everyone else and yet they are serving patients often going through the most challenging seasons of life. Lord, watch over them and their families. Make up any time that is lost for their sacrifice. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

Father, we ask for your blessing and protection on nursing students and GOCAPS students working in the hospital or other clinical settings. Give them wisdom and discernment as they learn and bring them mentors and other caring adults to guide and encourage them. Amen.

Please join me in prayer as we lift up our surgeons and support staff in the area. With the Lord's help, these highly gifted and experienced individuals work long hours performing seemingly impossible interventions. May the Lord continue to guide the hearts, the minds and the hands of these surgeons.

Please lift up our medical staff serving our little ones. Labor & Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care, Pediatrics and Pediatric Intensive Care Units as well as our Emergency Departments work hard to ensure our little ones are healthy.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Mt 19:14

Please pray for patients who are at the end-of-life and/or on hospice care. Patients and families are often weary from the journey at this point due to lengthy battles with one or more ailments.

Please pray for hospital chaplains ministering to patients and their loved ones. May the Lord provide them with words of comfort and truth. May they share the peace that comes only from You.
