In the United Prayer Room, we invite people to pray to God as a community. This is a place to connect to others by praying for needs and seeing how God responds.
We want the United Prayer Room to be a welcoming and trustworthy space for all. When submitting requests, please:
- Keep a community focus in mind; while our main priority is prayer for Stone and Taney Counties, we also want to remember needs in our state, our nation, and other countries
- Respect the privacy of individuals by not giving last names or identifying information
- Do not post hyperlinks, ads, spam-like content, copyrighted material, or content – including political content – that OML deems inappropriate
- Remember the importance of posting praise reports of answered prayer; this encourages the prayer warriors and allows us to thank and praise the Lord for His responses
As we follow these guidelines, we honor God, respect each other, and strengthen our community. Thank you for participating in this ministry.

Please pray for the CoxHealth Nursing Staff. A beloved team member, Chance Whitelaw (served in both Branson and Springfield) tragically died in an accident on Friday. Also, lift up Chance's family (wife and five children) as they grieve.

Please pray for patients who are at the end-of-life and/or on hospice care. Patients and families are often weary from the journey at this point due to lengthy battles with one or more ailments.

Father, I offer a prayer of thanksgiving and praise for the medical staff, skilled nursing staff, and Point Lookout staff who cared for me during the last few months! I felt Your love, Your compassion, and Your strength surrounding me. I pray You continue to equip those You've called to the medical field with Your ears to really listen to the patient, Your hands to sooth and repair illness and pain, Your strength to work the hours they work, and do it all over the next day.
The nurses, nurses aids, and staff are truly "unsung heroes"! I will always be thankful for Your provision of skills and compassion, and even tough love when necessary.
