Dear Lord, we thank You for the Peace Plan that has been signed for the war in Gaza. We come before You to pray for the quick release of the hostages. May no deception or harm manifest. We pray for safety and radical cooperation. We praise You for how You have worked to this moment. Be near to those in captivity and their families who await their return. In Jesus' name, amen.

Lord, You make a way when there is no way and You bring beauty from ashes. You bring dead things to life, and nothing is too far gone for You. Use us, Lord, to bring Your light to this nation in a time of unrest. Use us to redeem what has been broken. For we are created for such a time as this. We love You, Lord. Thank You for Your never-ending faithfulness. In Jesus’ Holy name we pray, Amen.

In the midst of ever-changing elements of healthcare, thank you for being the constant--the faithful, unchanging, Father. Please draw near to the healthcare leaders as new systems, policies and procedures are rolled out. May there be wisdom, grace and even encouragement amidst the conversations. We also pray that you would assist those on the front lines for as the changes hit, they are still having to manage the needs of patients and families.
Thank you for your help, your love and your provision. In Christ we pray. Amen.

Father, I pray for the financial condition of our nation. May our leaders use wisdom as they consider the cost of projects. As we face a coming shutdown may they not be political but responsible in their decisions. We thank you for the government we live in – the freedoms we enjoy. In Jesus name.

Dear Lord, we recognize that this earth is not our eternal home. Help us focus on the eternal as well as the temporal. This sinful world causes us physical and emotional pain. You are the Great Physician. We ask You to heal our nation. Please open the eyes of our leaders. Most importantly open our eyes to the things in our hearts that need Your healing so that we can stand righteously in relationship to You. We pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Father, Thank You for giving us a time to join together with fellow believers to remember the Lord Jesus yesterday. As we go forth this week, help us to carry Your Light, vision and hope with each situation and person we encounter.
Lord, you know the deepest needs of our hearts and the spiritual warfare that exists. Please watch over and protect the hospital chaplains, resident chaplains and volunteers who have encountered significant health challenges this past week. Meet them where they are and bring comfort and healing to each situation. To you be the glory. Amen.

Lord, we turn our eyes from the distress around us to focus on You alone – the Author and Sustainer of our faith. In You only, there is peace that surpasses understanding. May Your Holy Spirit move with power in our land and reign in our hearts and minds. We pray especially for our young people. Give them ears to hear. Turn their hearts toward You. Give them wisdom beyond their years. May they keep Your commandments. In Your name we pray, amen.

Lord, thank you that even though our needs are so great on this Monday morning, that You are greater still. Please draw close to a dear brother, Buddy, who is undergoing brain surgery this morning. Be his peace and comfort and use the medical team in a mighty way.
As we have new chaplain residents, go before them in their day-to-day activities. Help them to manage this new pace and the challenging stories that they are engaged with. Give them assurance that You have them right where You want them, O Lord.
Through Christ our Lord we pray. Amen.

Let's continue to lift up Hollister Schools this week, praying for the support staff - IT, school resource officers, food service, maintenance workers, bus drivers. Ask the Lord to give these vital workers wisdom, attentiveness and compassion as they interact with students and fellow staff members. They often go unnoticed but have many opportunities to seed love & value into our students. Pray for listening ears and discernment for each interaction. Ask the Lord to strengthen, energize and meet the needs of each one according to His perfect will.
